Tommy attended his first soccer practice last night. Getting there was a bit of a challenge, but we eventually found the field that we were supposed to be at. Unfortunately Tom had duty, so he wasn’t able to be there for the 1st soccer practice. Tommy said he had a good time. He has his first game on Saturday afternoon.

Alex and Anthony entertained themselves by playing on the playground equipment. They were really dirty & sweaty by the time we left. Alex was a bit put out though that I wouldn’t let him run onto the field to bother Tommy during practice.

Anthony is doing good in school so far. He has been very proud of himself for getting his green marks on the calendar each day for being good. He drew a dragon today, which he was so proud of that he proceeded to show me before we even got into the house. The bus driver said that he is very good. They have the same driver Tommy had last year, so each afternoon she pulls up to our driveway to drop them off.

Well, only two more days until the weekend. I don’t know about anyone else, but I can’t wait!

The boys went off on the bus this morning with no problems. Tom went into work late so he could be home to see them off this morning. We had no meltdowns at all and they were even sitting at the door with their bags waiting. Anthony followed Tommy on the bus and sat down just like he was supposed to. We almost didn’t remember his bus tag this morning since they were sitting by the door. The bus driver is the same as last year so she remembered Tommy and I know she’ll make fast friends with Anthony once she starts giving out suckers.

Alex and I have been trying to clean up the computer room with little success. He’s been playing with stuffed animals and been entertaining himself for the most part. Right now he’s singing along with Dora, wish I had the video camera out to tape him. I don’t know if he even noticed that his brothers aren’t here. It’s been pretty quiet today. I hope that it cools down a little soon so that Alex and I can start taking a walk during the day.
