This will be quick since it’s late.

The boys and I made a surprise visit to MI and spent the week visiting everyone. We spent time out on the boat, playing outside, we went to see Kung-Fu Panda, and tried to visit with everyone that we could. Jason came back with us since summer vacation started. So far I think they are having fun. We weren’t able to do as much as we had hoped because of money, but we got the slip ‘n slide today. We went to the pool on base on Tuesday and, the highlight of the week, a trip to the commissary. lol

Onto some photos though. I don’t have them all re-sized yet, but here are a few from our trip to MI and the boys playing on the slip ‘n slide this evening.

Tommy came home with an invitation for his family to go to the school tomorrow to see him get an award. The paper didn’t specify how many, but Tommy claims he’s getting 3! He said one was for not quitting and another is for getting 20 points on the little reading quizzes that they do. He said only him & his friend Chris got 20 or more, and only 2 others got over 15. I had no idea that those little quizzes were such a big deal! His teacher also moved up his end of year party because I have to take him out early on Friday. Up until last Thursday I thought that Monday the 16th was the last day of school, so I had no idea that we were going to be interferring with the party. I felt so bad when he told me that his teacher changed the time of their party.

Well, bed time for the boys. Got to get everyone to bed at a decent time so we can all get up and going to be at the school around 10:15.
