Just an update for anyone who may be interested…the ringtone upload through Mobile17 was successful. The first one I sent myself took nearly 12 hours, but I did get it. The second one I tried only took about an hour or two. I hope that they only charge what Mobile17 claims, which is somewhere about 10-30c. We’ll see. Since my ringtones worked we made one for Tom and we’re still waiting for it to be delivered to his phone.

So, yesterday at around 2:30pm I placed an order through Verizon’s website for our new cell phones. We both got th LG enV, mine in green and Tom’s in orange. They arrived this afternoon! That was very fast. I immediately opened the box and charged them up, when Tom got home he called and activated them. So, we are Verizon customers now. We’ve been busy since dinner adding our contacts into the new phone and figuring out how to work things on it.

I want my ringtones so I’ve been on a search for some way to do it myself. I can sync up my phone to my laptop since they are both bluetooth compatible, but I haven’t figured out how to add the songs yet to get them available to use as a ringtone. I remembered a post about Mobile17 and being able to send yourself a song to make as a ringtone. Paying for a picture message or text message is usually cheaper than buying the ringtone. I’ll let you know how it works in about an hour, my wait time is approximately 94 minutes with over 600 people ahead of me in line.

There is also a post on using Audacity on lifehacker, but I couldn’t get the trim option to come up for me.

That’s about the most exciting news we have around here at our house. Tom is the staff non-fire on the range so he’s been up and to work about 2 hours earlier than normal and staying at the range til later than normal. He’s passed out on the couch right now, guess the long days are catching up with him. lol Alex has been at it again with his late to bed routines. Even yesterday after a maximum 20 minute nap, he was awake until nearly 1:30pm. He’s also been following in his brothers footsteps and having bloody noses for no reason.

We got a letter from the HOA (or something) about the neighborhood yard sale on May 3rd. So, I’m thinking about taking advantage of it. I hate the thought of just donating everything to Goodwill, if I could get some $$ for all that stuff it would be nice. Plus there are a few things that we have that we were going to sell on ebay that won’t be worth the time & hassle so a yard sale would be better. Who wants to come help me price things & set up for it?????? You know it sounds like a grand time!!
