Easter SundayPosted on March 23rd, 2008 @ 8:37 pm
Hope everyone had a nice day! The Easter Bunny came and visited all 4 boys. They each got a bucket full of goodies, some candy, a small wood airplane, some glow bracelets, a cool Camelbak sport bottle and a Webkinz for each of them. Jason got a snake, whose name is Slyther, Tommy got a Lion whose name was Jones this morning and I can’t remember at this moment what he re-named it, Anthony got a cute little monkey who doesn’t have a name and Alex got the most adorable little Saint Bernard. They found all 30 (give or take a couple due to technical difficulties) in about 5 minutes flat. Alex wasn’t too involved with the egg hunt, but the 3 bigger boys were having fun finding them. The bunny hid those eggs in all sorts of strange places, on top of the thermostat, next to the Xbox, on window sills, in Uncle Tom’s smelly slippers, in Jason’s stinky shoes, in the movie cabinet, in a candle, in the bathroom sink & that silly bunny even hid one in the box of donuts!
I’ve been trying to post pictures to the blog since last night, but for some reason when I upgraded to the beta version I’m having issues. So, we’ll keep trying.
Tom had to stand duty today, so we had our big dinner last night. Jackie and I took the boys outside to play for a bit today, they needed to run off some energy. We stopped by Tom’s work to visit with him for a few minutes while he was on duty, we took him up some food to eat and his computer so he could play his Command & Conquer game. The boys are playing games now, I think we might go watch a movie soon.
Tomorrow is the big birthday day! Tom will be picking up the ice cream cake from Baskin Robbins tomorrow on his way home from work (hopefully). Tommy has asked for KFC for his birthday dinner. I can’t wait for them to open their presents. I was so sad the other day when Tommy asked me if he was going to get presents on his birthday, he thought that since Anthony didn’t get any presents for his birthday that he wouldn’t either. I had to explain to him, again, that they chose to wait for Jackie and Jason and since Dad had to work we had to switch a couple of the days that we were going to do stuff. I felt so bad though, I didn’t mean for him to think they wouldn’t be getting presents.
Ok, I’m off now, Jackie and I are going to register the boys’ new Webkinz.
