Beautiful January day

So, it was unseasonably warm today, well at least we thought so, near 65* or warmer. Tomorrow its supposed to be close to 70*. So we got the two younger boys outside to play while we tried to clean out and organize the garage. We have a big pile of stuff that we need to take to a donation center somewhere. I would really like to take it to a women’s shelter or the food bank, but I have a feeling it will more than likely end up at Goodwill because it’s closer and we’ll more than likely have to make at least 2 trips. More once we get through the kids toys and our old clothes.

Tommy had a good first day back to school since his long break. He didn’t want to do his homework, but got through it and was able to play a Wii game with Dad. I set up our new printer since the old one doesn’t want to print anything but text right. We decided on a nice new Epson. Hopefully it will live up to its hype.

Our military id’s expire on the 9th. We need an appointment to get them unless we show up at 7am for the walk-ins (which means that more than likely Tommy won’t get to school on time or at all, especially considering when we went last time we did have an appointment and we were there for well over 2 hours waiting to get my id). The earliest appointment they could get me was the 22nd. Which means that tomorrow I will have to run to the commisarry and hope that we have enough money to buy enough food to last until the end of the month. We ran to Giant when we first got home to get a few things and that cost us enough money as it is. Not to mention that we need to make a run to Sam’s club for bottled water, laundry detergent and a few other things. This would have to happen to us right now.

We still have yet to take down our Christmas decorations, hard to believe that it’s almost the middle of January already. Well, we should get the kiddos fed.
