Coming to a store near you on Tuesday…

Halo 3!!!!!

All the boys in this house are anxiously awaiting the much anticipated release of Halo 3. We have it reserved at Best Buy, we’re hoping to get out there sometime on Tuesday to pick up our copy. If Best Buy is opening at midnight like we’ve heard quite a few other stores are, one of us might just run out to pick it up then. Hopefully the laptop will be ready to be picked up as well. Alex decided that it no longer needed an H or an ALT key, so they won’t just sell or replace the missing keys, they are going to replace the whole keyboard. We dropped it off with them on the 9th and it’s still not back to our local store. When we had to get the camera fixed we dropped it off and it was back within a week to a week and a half. It’s getting rather irritating. Of course, I’m almost hoping that something happens to it, I’ve had my eye on a new Mac powerbook for a few months now, but obviously the need isn’t there to justify the cost.

Other than that we had a lazy weekend, just sat around, tried to organize some things. Got the backyard mowed today and the boys got a new Pablo (from the Backyardagains) sprinkler on clearance at Target so they were excited to try it out. Of course now our crappy cheap water hose has a hole it in, it’s destined to be in the trash here shortly.

Well, it’s bath time and almost bedtime here - so until another day…Or until we can remove ourselves from the Xbox long enough ;)

Teeth cleaning, bright & early
Posted on September 20th, 2007 @ 12:12 pm

Tommy and Anthony both went to the dentist bright and early this morning. No cavities for either one of them! They were both good and they got their new toothbrushes and a couple of balloons. Alex was jealous that he didn’t get one, but the lady that brought out the boys brought one out for him and he was so happy.

Tommy is at school now, Tom is at work and the other boys are quietly watching tv. We have a bunch of little things to do around the house this weekend. We are hoping to finish watching our 2 season of Prison Break soon so that we can start watching the 3rd season on tv.

Our landlord stopped by last night looking for mail (we didn’t have any for him) and to check out the fence that he already knew was broken. He was an hour later than he said he was going to be and stayed all of 5 minutes. Which pretty much ruined our whole night of getting things done. He never did tell us what he was going to do about the fence.
