I decided to put up the photo gallery we used to have. So, I’m getting everything straightened out now. It’ll take a couple days to get all the photos re-sized and up. Plus I have to re-code some of it and input our information in the appropriate spots. I might not get a chance to do it all at once.

Tommy is on his 2nd full day of summer vacation. I think he’s enjoying himself. On Weds we picked him up and took them to Blockbuster in hopes of renting Shrek the Third for the 360. Unfortunately they didn’t have it in, so they decided on TMNT instead. Afterwards we went across the parking lot to Baskin Robbins (31 flavors…this one only had 28). Tommy got a cup of ice cream, Anthony got a cone and shortly after decided the wanted a cup.

Yesterday some workers were here to fix some things, the plumbers were here and fixed 5 leaks in the pipes in the basement (he also told me that his boss has been out here and fixed 30+ leaks - more than likely from the pipes not being wintereized - good going MR S), they had to cut into the drywall, and they don’t replace it either. Figures, another thing to have to deal with. At least they were nice and could speak English though. The electrician was out and replaced the outlets in the kitchen, he said there was no reason for them to be tripping like they were. But he didn’t run a test on the system as a whole, like the other electrician told me back in March. The painter also came out and took 2 hours to touch-up paint around the air vents in the ceiling.

It’s here! Tommy’s last day of school! He’s excited and a little sad I think. He signed cards for his teachers and said that they were great teachers and he will miss them. We wish we could keep him in the same school, but that would mean driving him back and forth again, which wouldn’t be a big deal, but he is excited about getting to ride the bus. We are pretty sure that he will be riding the bus to his new school next year.

Nothing else is going on. Trying to sort through some of our clutter and get rid of things. Still waiting on things to be done to the house. Just a few small things, but yet we had a leak in the basement over Memorial Day weekend when Tom turned on the front outside faucet to wash the cars and water came pouring out of the wall. Mr S doesn’t seem too concerned with that though, more concerned with the fact that the back porch light doesn’t work and why the doorbell doesn’t work. He came over last Tuesday to look at all the things we put on the move in list. He called on Thursday to say that he hadn’t heard back from anyone and left a message for us on Friday that they wanted to come out sometime this week - but yet it’s Wednesday and we haven’t heard anything.

Well, Tommy gets out at 1pm and Tom is coming home to go with us to get him. We are going to take him to get some ice cream or something. Tom has duty tomorrow so he’ll be gone until Friday sometime.
