Well, not much has really been going on here. We’re still waiting on work to be finished here at the house. Which reminds me of yesterday’s fiasco with the workers. Let’s just say that I was upstairs giving the two younger boys a bath and all of a sudden I heard a voice in the house, I went downstairs to find some strange guy IN the house. Gee, that was fun. The upper cabinets still aren’t here and neither is the other countertop. They cleaned the hardwood floors that weren’t replaced, so now it looks dumb, before they put the wax/finish on it you could only tell where it was different was at the line where the new floor started, only because the old floor had settled. Now it’s really noticeable and to top it off they didn’t do a good job of cleaning the old floor, so you can see the finish is bubbled where there is dirt sitting there and there is still alot of drywall dust and paint in some spots in the grooves of the wood. It’s been so much fun!

We are having a garage sale this weekend with some friends of ours. Wish us luck in getting rid of as much stuff as we possibly can. We’ve had some stuff lingering around for a long time only because we hate to just throw it away. Whatever doesn’t sell we are going to take to the Families helping Families event they are having on base next week. Perfect timing!

Tommy is getting another CARES award at school on Friday, for Effort this time. Last time it was for sportsmanship. He doesn’t know about it right now, it will be a surprise and he’ll get it at the assembly on Friday.
