Tom had a long weekend since he went to 29 Palms. So on Sunday we took the metro to the National Zoo. The zoo was free to get in and the boys really enjoyed it. We went with our neighbors so all the kids had a good time.

Alex is eating a lot more table food now, among his new favorites now are Cheerios, animal crackers and fries. He’s still not crawling forward, but he rolls around everywhere and goes backwards alot. He’s trying to stand up now too. He really likes the bin full of hot wheel cars.

There are a few pictures from the zoo, we’ll see about the kids being good and getting them in the photo album later.

Tom is home and things are starting to get back to normal. He’s hoping to not have to go to PalmFex again this year, but nothing is 100% certain right now.

We’re trying to figure out Christmas, get an early start buying some things that way it’s not a big shock to the wallet. The MC Ball is coming up on Nov 4th also, we’re trying to make all our plans for that aslo.

Nothing else new going on. Thought I would update quick and let everyone know that Tom came home on time. Of course he has a busy week the first week he’s back - got to love the range.
