Tom got a call last night from Jones. He made it back to Lejeune! We hadn’t heard from him in awhile so we weren’t sure how things were going. We were going to try to get down there to Welcome him home, but with Tom in the field, and we had no contacts within his command, it was a bit hard to try to plan. But, he’s going to come visit this weekend. So, the boys are going to make him a welcome home sign and we’re going to get some steaks and portabella mushrooms and of course, we can’t forget the Southern Comfort. lol Oh and a racing game. lol Tommy can’t wait to play Halo with him again. For probably the same reasons he likes to play Halo with me…I’m no good at the game.
Tommy was reminding us last night about how Jones played with them in the backyard at our old house and would push them on the swings when people would come to see the house. Funny the things they remember.
